Meet Our Team
Director of Programs
Terry Bright
Terry Bright joined Elizabeth House in 1994 shortly after the doors officially opened. Her expertise and experience in program management has contributed greatly to the success and overall positive outcomes of our program. Prior to joining our staff, Terry worked for a fortune 500 company and ran two of her own businesses. She is well-known among the non-profit community, specifically within the shelter program network as being a strong advocate for the health and well-being of women and their families. Terry has also contributed greatly to other programs through consulting and advising, especially in the areas of program development and case management.
Elizabeth House is proud to introduce our newly appointed Executive Director, Dr. Margaret Lee, PhD, MSW.
Margaret earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from University of California, Los Angeles. She was a professor in the Social Work program at Azusa Pacific University for the past 14 years, where she taught courses in social work and nonprofit management. She brings extensive experience in organizational leadership, mental health services, and program management.
First connected to Elizabeth House as a volunteer in 2012 and later serving on its Board for five years, Margaret offers both deep institutional knowledge and a steady approach to leading organizations through transition. Her expertise is in housing and homelessness, particularly the faith-based response to these issues.
Margaret has been married to Bryant Mathews for 20 years and is the mother of a 14-year-old daughter, Elise, and a 9-year-old son, Andrew. She is thrilled to get to walk to work at Elizabeth House every day.
